There’s a story behind the daffodils. It comes from a single daffodil that was spared as a path was made through the gravel parking lot between the playground and the classroom. They put a rock border around it for protection. They provided the means for it to grow and bloom, year after year. Daffodils became the symbol of resilience and renewal for families who–with FNC’s support–avoid becoming a part of the foster care system. Working with their dedicated, caring staff is a personally fulfilling experience for me.
